Farmhouse in Dandeli

Set within a sprawling farm beside a river, the stay offers a glimpse of countryside life, in the midst of a forestland. The surrounding farmland, forest and river create plenty of opportunities to explore the raw nature. The tribal village besides the property gives you a real world experience of life and culture here in the forest.

You are woken up by the sound of Peacocks and Hornbills in the morning along with barking of the Foxes and bleating of Deer’s, so you don’t need an alarm. There’s also a glass-walled room that brings the surrounding landscape into view, making it a lovely spot to watch the changing light. You can walk through the fields, watch birds, look out for wildlife, or spend some time learning about life on the farm.

Back at the farm, you can prepare your own meals in the kitchen, enjoy freshly sourced milk when available, or arrange a barbecue or campfire for the evening. There’s even a simple outdoor Machan where you can spend a night under the stars.
